  John William Hudgell, his wife Emma Kirby who he married in 1892 and children Doris Winifred and Edith May set sail on the Corinthic on 18th November from London and arrived in Wellington on 6th January 1903 1902 via Cape Town; voyage quoted as 49 days to Cape Town and 69 to New Zealand

  From New Zealand records it appears that John William although his trade in England was a plumber was employed for many years in the Post and Telephone offices living in Onehunga New Zealand
